PROJECT MANAGEMENT CASE STUDY: WESTLEIGH In 2000 Azure Project Services was approached by the developer to manage the design and approval process for a 128 duplex and townhouse development. DESIGN PROCESS Selecting, commissioning and managing the team of consultants for the design of the civil and building works and managing the project through to the Approval process. APPROVAL PROCESS Management responsibilities include the preparation of the Development Application, Statement of Effects, solar access calculations and the negotiation with Council planners through to the gaining of Development Consent. Following responsibilities include the selection of the Principal Certifying Authority and organising the Construction Certificate. CONSTRUCTION PROCESS Chairing of site meetings, recording of minutes, client reports and resolution of construction and design issues including stormwater detention systems.
